Woman’s intuition: A peek behind the curtains of the mind.
(this was the original title, shortened only to make it more SEO friendly)
Woman’s intuition: the sheer power of a woman’s will that makes what she believes, without any proof, become reality and vice versa.
It is proof of coincidences being quantum entanglements and reality being a succession of random probabilities, yet entwined by metaphysical constructs , one of them being a woman’s intuition.
This is the mother of all chicken and egg conundrums.
I don’t generally rewatch movies, but I had a notion that I wanted to watch “Man from earth” after I turned thirty. (Thirty is the new ninety. God! I’m old)
The last scene where the love interest of the main protagonist just reveals that she believes in the main protagonist’s story just made me think of a funny definition of a woman’s intuition.
The problem was the thought was quick and evanescent, but it had come as a series of images flashing in my mind’s eye, and no matter how much I tried, it wouldn’t translate fully into words.
For me, quick thoughts are grounded in the senses, and slow thoughts tumble out clumsily in the form of words, barely comprehensible, disorderly and chaotic, which I slowly rearrange and give meaning.
I never thought I was a genius, but my inability to translate well frustrated me.
I’m not a misogynist, but this is the best I could come up with.
This is a peek behind the curtains of the mind. My mind.
Sorry to have misled you.
